Here are the 5 Best Halloween Movies on Hulu 2022

1. The addams family

Creepy, kooky, mysterious, creepy, and downright weird, created by Charles Adams, gets a modern update in 2019 Animated. Addams Family. Slightly less macabre than previous Addams Family incarnations, this version stars Oscar Isaacs and Charlize Theron as the voices of Gomez and Morticia Adams, who move their family of strange buffaloes to a neatly planned community, where their not welcome. ADDAMSES prove they are the good guys beneath their dark exterior, rooting for the town's true villains in the process.

2. Black Swan

Like getting ready for Halloween, Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan is about the act of becoming someone else. Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis are rival ballet dancers, vying for the title role in Tchaikovsky's production of Swan Lake. Portman's Nina may be losing her grip on reality, and Kunis Lily may be a figment of Nina's imagination, or they may be the same person.

As the psychodrama progresses, the characters - and their Swan Lake characters - overlap in sensual and violent ways, leading to a beautifully dark climax.

3. Edward Scissorhands

A fictional tale about a shy misfit, Edward Scissorhands is the most personal and distinctive work of filmmaker Tim Burton. Johnny Depp plays the title character, created by a brilliant scientist (played by Vincent Price in his final role), but left with scissors instead of real hands.

Edward builds a home for himself in an idyllic suburb, only to find his peaceful life shattered by jealousy and ignorance. Burton's signature blend of dark imagery with gorgeous beauty is the perfect addition to this tragic and haunting romance.

4. Elvira: mistress of the dark

Cassandra Peterson's Elvira is the unofficial queen of Halloween, an instantly recognizable nerdy character best known for hosting horror film shows. Elvira's debut, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, is a witty, good-natured comedy about the morbid but friendly Elvira inheriting from a sprawling old house in a town full of depressing backseats.

Of course, Elvira eventually wins over the town's residents with her love of sex and schlocky horror, while also preventing an evil Warlock from taking over the world.

5. The Rocky Horror Picture Show

Okay, so watching The Rocky Horror Picture Show At Home isn't the same as experiencing cult musical in terms of famed audience participation in itself. But even if you invite a few friends over, you can still take part in some of the goofy rituals that made this movie a pop culture phenomenon.

Or you can simply enjoy the camping tale of an unsuspecting couple (played by Barry Bostwick and Susan Sarandon) who are lured into a mad castle, only to find themselves humming along to catchy tunes the next day.
